Ralf Beyer
Ralf Beyer was born in Preetz, Germany in 1964. He received the Dipl.-Ing. degree from the University of Braunschweig, Germany, and the Dr.-Ing. degree from the University of Bremen, Germany, both in electrical engineering, in 1992 and 2000, respectively. During his study he worked at the Microwave Development Department of FUBA and designed components for satellite receiver. From 1989 until 1991, he has been engaged with the Computation Fluid Dynamics (CFD) at the University of Braunschweig, Germany. From 1992 to 2000 he has been with the Microwave Department, University of Bremen, Germany. He has been an Assistant Professor at the University of Bremen from 1998 to 2000. His research interests have been related to the computer-aided design of antennas and waveguide components, based on the finite element and mode-matching method. He joined MICIAN GbR in April 2000. His current work includes CAD program development and microwave circuit design.
