Thomas Sieverding

Thomas Sieverding was born in Lohne, Germany, in 1959. He received the Dipl.-Ing. and the Dr.-Ing. degrees, both in electrical engineering, from the University of Bremen, Germany, in 1984 and 1990, respectively. From 1985 to 1989, he was engaged in software engineering at BICC Vero Electronics, and OTCE-Consulting, Bremen.From 1987 to 1998, he was with the Microwave Department, University of Bremen, Germany, and from 1991 to 1998, he worked as an Assistant Professor at the University of Bremen. Until end of 1999, he was the Research and Design Manager of Microwave Innovation Group (MIG), which he co founded 1993 together with Prof. Arndt and others. His major contributions included implementation of waveguide components for their commercial waveguide simulation program in cooperation with Peter W. Krauss. He joined MICIAN GbR in March 2000 as associate and managing director. His current work includes CAD program development and microwave circuit design, in particular for satellite components and antenna networks.
